ACMEL Labo

ACMEL Labo, a member of the Zwick Roell Group since 2002, has designed 4 testing machines for cement, mortar, and plaster producers.

  • The PA8 for the measurement of initial and final setting time of those materials. The system is fully automated allowing unsupervised Vicat tests on 8 individual specimens.
  • The BSA1 for automatic determination of the fineness of powder products with the Blaine method.
  • The FLA1 to determine the rate of unbound lime in cements and clinkers.
  • The BC16 that allows to boil "le chatellier" cement tubes in order to determine the delayed expansion of the cement due to heat of hydration.

ACMEL's design office and the production unit is in Champlan near Paris, France. They have integrated manual know-how from their customers inside their machines and used the benefit of automation offered by computers and microprocessors. ACMEL's products are very easy to use - yet at the same time - performing powerful analysis on the stored results.
