We round our product portfolio of testing machines off by offering several thousand different accessories: we supply a wide range of load cells, specimen grips, tools, extensometers, and temperature chambers. For it is the accessories that make a custom solution for any application out of a universal testing machine.

Zwick accessories add value: they are versatile, can be combined as desired, and are geared for ease of use. For example, our adapters allow small inserts such as compression and bending tools to be deployed in large specimen holders.

Further, our innovations place us at the cutting edge of testing technology. At our in-house Fair for Testing Technologies in 2002, we introduced optiXtens, an optical extensometer for the non-contact measurement of the deformation of test specimens subjected to quasi-static loads. optiXtens paves new paths in extension measurement, as it captures optically the slightest changes in the length of a material without the need for marking the specimen.
