 APS Plastics PTY Ltd is an award winning, Australian design engineering company that commenced operation in 1986 and has since grown to an internationally competitive market leader. They are the current Australian Government and Telstra Business of the year (100 employees or less category) and were recently inducted to the Manufacturing Hall of Fame (Victoria) as a service provider.
The extensive range of innovative, professional services provided by APS includes; industrial design, engineering (CAE), analysis and testing, manufacturing set up and optimization and total project management. APS began using the Zwick Roell ProLine 500N material testing machine in 2004 to test innovative new medical devices to stringent TGA, EC and FDA standards. One of these products, the Unitract Retractable Syringe won the gold medal for best medical device at the Geneva design awards for "greatest potential for commercial success and overall benefit to humanity".
APS conducts tensile and compressive tests on both products and materials, as determined by applicable international or in-house standards, including, friction force, strength, peel and cyclic testing.
