The system is used for the fully automatic performance of tensile tests on Metal specimens (e.g. according to DIN EN 10002-1, JIS Z 2201, ASTM E8) and Dimensionally stable specimens of other materials (e.g. wood).

The system consists of a materials testing machine (test load 400 kN till 1200 kN) including specimen grips and the automatic test system �roboTest C� with a magazine for 24 specimens. The usage of modern and state-of-art tools for software-development results is done in a very simple and intuitive operation of automation with Zwick autoEdition2-software. Manual tests are still possible by simply swinging the feed system aside.
