A standard and precisely shaped notch is important for correct results in an impact test. The Notch Vision measures quickly and without contact, not only the notch, but also the dimensions of the notched impact specimen. The Notch Vision measures specimen to ISO (U-, and V-notches), ASTM E 23 (Types A and C) as well as DIN 50115 (KLST-, DVM- and DVMK-specimen).

After placement the specimen will be automatically measured without contact, which eliminates operating errors and guarantees reproducible test results. In comparison to competitive instruments, the Notch Vision gives much faster test results.
