cLine materials testing machines are ideal for component testing and for testing flexible foam materials. 

Component testing mainly involves molded foam products such as mattresses and vehicle seats and upholstery; for materials testing, cubes or slabs of flexible foam are used. Compression tests, cyclic indentation tests and pulsating compressive strength tests (alternating load tests) are employed. Used in conjunction with our intuitive testXpert II testing software, cLine materials testing machines are very easy to operate; this range features a test area which is open on three sides.

Ergonomic operation

Greater operator convenience thanks to side operation, swiveling table extensions on both sides, an additional single-sided table extension and an optional display-equipped remote control for set-up and operating modes.

Standard-compliant positioning accuracy

Standard-compliant positioning accuracy is reliably achieved thanks to online correction performed automatically in the testing software and the testControl II electronics, enabling accurate approach to corrected targets. For the user this means greater accuracy in displacement measurement at specified loads.

Powerful drives

Extremely low minimum speeds can be set, combined with greater speed-stability, while the zero-backlash ball-screw drive delivers high crosshead travel resolution. The motor employs zero-maintenance AC technology.

The high test-speed range can be used without restriction, while faster return speeds mean reduced cycle times and increased test throughput.

Stiff, robust machine frame

The machine frame features rigid welded steel-sheet construction.

Indenter tools

Indenters are available in different diameters in accordance with the requirements of standards or company specifications and are circular flat, hemispherical or spherical. They are easy to install and change.

Integration into production process

cLine materials testing machines can optionally be integrated into the production process, for example by means of roller conveyors in front of and behind the support table.

Safety for the entire testing system

The 2-channel safety circuit, including Emergency STOP, crosshead limit-stop switch and interlinked accessories, Drive OFF switch and motor brake function, together with the operating-mode selector-switch, ensure enhanced safety during set-up. The CE-compliant electrically interlocked safety device prevents interference with the machine during the test.

Technical overview

General

  • cLine is available with test speeds from 0.0005 to 1000 mm/min, depending on type. Testing machine speed is independent of the test load.
  • The high test-speed range can be used without restriction. In addition, test loads up to 110% of machine nominal load are permissible to compensate for heavy combinations of test fixtures, accessories etc.
  • cLine is available for test loads up to 10 kN and with a test-area height of 819 mm.
  • cLine can be operated with standard commercial PCs or laptops and requires no special expansion cards.

Machine compliance correction

The high-quality drive technology plus online correction of machine compliance enable very high travel-measurement and positioning accuracy. testXpert II automatically determines the optimum curve, ensuring maximum possible accuracy for travel measurement and positioning via the crosshead displacement transducer.

  • Real-time correction via the corrected channel directly in the testControl II electronics, regardless of test speed and duration!
  • Control and positioning directly to the corrected channel.

System-Monitoring

Das testControl II System-Monitoring gibt dem Anwender/Labormanager detaillierte Informationen über den aktuellen Zustand und Nutzungsgrad des Prüfequipments. Dadurch kann die Verfügbarkeit des Prüfequipments weiter erhöht und die Planung von Wartung bzw. Ersatzbeschaffung deutlich vereinfacht werden.

Schneller und adaptiver Antriebsregler

Mit dem hohen Antriebs-Regeltakt von 1000 Hz, der schnelle und präzise Kraft- und Dehnungsregelungen ermöglicht, kann zum Beispiel ein Bauteil sehr genau und schnell mit einer vorgegebenen Kraft belastet werden.

Zudem erfolgt die Einstellung aller notwendigen Regelparameter für das schnelle und exakte Anfahren von Zielpositionen automatisch. Dadurch können Prüfkosten und Zeit durch Vermeidung von aufwendigen Vorversuchen eingespart werden.

Höchste Genauigkeit

Höchste Messwert-Genauigkeit bei großem Messbereich durch die hohe Auflösung mit 24 bit und den mit 400 kHz abgetasteten A/D-Wandler. Zum Beispiel können so auch kleinste Kraftänderungen an der Probe noch exakt erfasst und dargestellt werden.

Eco-Modus

Die testControl II-Maschinenelektronik schaltet bei Nichtgebrauch automatisch in den Eco-Modus und spart somit Energie.

Ergonomische Fernbedienung mit Display

Die komplette Versuchsdurchführung ist über die Display-Fernbedienung, unabhängig vom PC, möglich. Alle wichtigen Informationen werden über das Display dargestellt. Die Bedienung der Maschine wird somit noch ergonomischer und effektiver. Zudem ist ein schnelles, aber auch hochpräzises Positionieren durch den Wipp-Schalter mit integriertem Drehrad möglich.
